Riot Act is officially done raiding.

Many of you have been asking why Riot Act has decided to call it quits, so I'm here to give you an official and honest answer.

The primary reason? I am no longer enjoying the game. On top of that, I don't have the time, nor the motivation (from lack of enjoyment), to mold the guild into something that I can be happy with. By not being able to give this guild the attention that it deserves, I feel like I am bringing down some of the best players that I've had the good fortune of playing with, and that doesn't sit well with me. Several of them could easily be playing in the top 10 bracket of the world, and fortunately as of this official announcement, some of them are.

This guild has had some of the most skilled and likable players I've ever come across. It was a rush having so many world class players under the same guild tag night after night. The experience is something that I've been missing even days after I quit, and will likely continue to miss years from now.

As for the Riot Act of today; the guild itself will most likely stay active with the members who have chosen to stay. Feel free to say hello to them if you find yourself playing on Anetheron. They're wonderful people. Several other members of the guild have dispersed and now play in some of the best guilds in the world. Be sure to keep a close eye on them, since chances are high that they'll outshine even the very best in the guilds they join. And of course, several have stopped playing the game altogether, like yours truly. Maybe some of us will come back for Cataclysm, but only time will tell.

To those in Riot Act; past, present, and future.

Like only a select few who have played this fantastic MMO, I can say that I've been fortunate enough to have walked among kings. It has been a blast playing with all of you and I don't regret a minute of it. I will always be proud to look back on my time here and the history we made together. I want to wish everyone in Riot Act the best of luck!
