14528 DPS on a 300 second fight in Simcraft. No tricks, no hysteria, etc.
This is the highest DPS Tauren setup I am aware of.
Night elves can hit 14590 DPS according to EJ, the difference of 1% hit is 32.79 stat points, at 2.1586 DPS per point of haste, plus their racial +8 agility at 1.9223 DPS per point of agi, is 86.2 DPS… So this setup is likely higher DPS than any posted on EJ.
DPS on a typical “real” fight (300 +/- 10% duration, various interruptions in DPS due to movement, stuns, etc): 12097

These are according to Rawr, which is off by about 5%, but the relative values should be close.

I ran some more simcraft (wasted all afternoon on it when I should have been doing homework, actually), and came up with some new results. I made some incorrect assumptions in the previous runs that resulted in DPS being higher than it should be, and will update the main post later. But for now:
This is with no ICC buff.
Rings
Frostbrood Sapphire Ring + Ashen Band of Vengeance: 14500 DPS
Frostbrood Sapphire Ring + Band of the Bone Colossus: 14506 DPS
Ashen Band of Vengeance + Band of the Bone Colossus: 14319 DPS
Frostbrood Sapphire Ring + Band of the Bone Colossus is BIS, but Band of the Bone Colossus is only 6 DPS better than Ashen Band of Vengeance. This however does free up the rep ring to be used for tanking, which may be situationally BIS.
Trinkets
First trinket: Deathbringer’s Will
Second Trinket:
Whispering Fang Skull: 14492 DPS
Deathbringer’s Will: 14506 DPS
Herkuml War Token (with hit/str gem in belt swapped for hit/agi): 14499 DPS
Deathbringer’s Will is BIS, but Herkulm War Token is only 7 DPS less, and effectively free.
Hysteria
Using Hysteria 3 seconds into the pull and on cooldown results in 14995 DPS, for a gain from Hysteria of 496 DPS. I believe this is a higher gain than using Hysteria on any other class. Can anyone confirm?

theres a huge difference between warrior and druid as far as hybrids go, and its completely fucking unreasonable that a druid can beat me by 1k even using a fucking legendary, without it its a 1900 dps difference, fucking pathetic how bad this game is.

I agree that its kinda sad the legendary doesn’t tip the scales more.
As far as dps difficulty, I don’t think feral is that hard (especially now with mangle change). I’d say Arcane mage is tougher than feral, although feral does have a relatively steep learning curve.
