I had entered the proc wrong when I came up with the difference of only 55… Zod’s is vastly superior:

Zod’s Repeating Longbow (277): 13112 + 1257 from pet = 14369 DPS
Fal’inrush, Defender of Quel’thalas (271): 12852 + 1258 from pet = 14110 DPS

The proc alone is 193 DPS, not to mention the higher DPS on the weapon.

Using the DPS spreadsheet and all BiS gear and just swapping the ranged weapon and refreshing stat weightings gives (this is for a 6 minute boss fight with optimal buffs, etc.):

Zod’s - 14,749.83 dps
Fal’inrush - 14,534.55 dps

with the heroic Fal’inrush it goes up to a whopping 15,073.95!

I knew it was better obviously, but I wanted to know exactly how much vs the 271 xbow based on its speed factor.

Good evening! Found this thread while searching some discussions about Zod’s hc vs. Fal’inrush. Got 271 Fal’inrush last week and was happy about it - at last he dropped the x-bow! But guess what - yesterday Zod’s 277 dropped and I’m the only raid hunter. So I paid the gear points again. Now I’ve got both of them but Rawr actually shows dps DECREASE if I change Fal’inrush for Zod’s 277. I checked that in Shandara spreadsheet (femaledwarf.com) and again saw a bit less but still decrease. Would you please say how you count these numbers as I feel a bit disappointed. I will appreciate this much.
