Regarding Phylactery, does arcane missiles count as periodic damage?  Would be nice if only locks/priests were the only ones this trinket is really good for

While you stand and channel, Arcane Missiles launches bolts of arcane energy at your target, dealing the given damage each second. Unlike other channeled spells, each second (or “tick”) is considered a separate direct damage missile which passes through the normal direct damage checks (crit, resistance). - WoWiki

Seems like it is primarily a lock/priest item. Although, I wouldn’t be surprised if boomchickens went after it as well.

That’s true, forgot about moonkin.  But definitely not wanted by mages is at least a bit helpful.

I was wondering, i see you guys are saying 5 piece tier 277 is BiS. Is it only at the 277 level that 5 piece is worthwhile?

I think you’re supposed to use 4pc + Gunship Captain’s Mittens

Though honestly I haven’t looked into it since I stopped playing Destro.

BiS for fire which is equal to (or better than?) arcane next patch, partially due to arcane being forced into heroic reign as BiS.

thanks wargy ;) my alt will never get the 277 gear anyways but im sure i can substitute most lists by just reducing its ilvl to find the equivalent i am capable of getting
